SNS Active Protective Nets: Quality Evaluation Criteria
1. Customized Systems for Diverse Environments
To address varying natural environments, geological conditions, and safety requirements, we have developed modular system products with standardized component configurations.
2. Key Quality Inspection Criteria
a. Mesh Size Inspection
-
National Standards: Allowable mesh size deviation ≤ 2 cm.
-
Non-Standard Products: Deviation up to 5 cm.
Note: Larger mesh gaps reduce rock retention capacity, increasing the risk of debris penetration. Compliant products exhibit superior performance.
b. Diameter of Galvanized Steel Ropes
-
National Standards: Minimum rope diameter = 8 mm.
-
Non-Standard Products: Typically ≤ 7.5 mm.
Impact: Smaller diameters compromise load-bearing capacity and safety ratings.
c. Thickness of Locking Buckles (TB/T3089-2004 Compliance)
-
Updated Requirement: 2.2 mm (previously 2.0 mm) to meet enhanced engineering demands.
d. Visual & Dimensional Checks
-
Inspect wire diameter (including roundness), surface quality, structural integrity, twisting method, and uniformity.
e. Strand Disassembly Test
-
Disassemble partial or full strands to assess:
-
Total breaking tensile force of internal wires.
-
Mechanical properties of individual wires.
-
f. Wire Grid Specifications
-
National Standards: Wire diameter = 2.3 mm (internal grid).
-
Non-Standard Products: Wire diameter = 2.0 mm.
Critical Factor: Thicker grids enhance structural resilience.
g. Breaking Tensile Test
-
Evaluate the maximum tensile force the net withstands before failure under unidirectional static load.
3. Quality Assurance Guidelines
-
SNS active protective nets prioritize functionality over aesthetics; rigorous on-site quality verification is essential.
-
Compliance with national standards ensures optimal engineering outcomes and long-term reliability.
Note: The above criteria align with industry best practices and regulatory benchmarks. Always validate product certifications and conduct pre-installation testing.
